BUOY Floating Hat Crash Test

BUOY WEAR hats float in any and all water conditions, so you can find it easily after a crash while kiteboarding or if it falls off your head from a boat. The hat will sit above the water's surface and can be seen from afar in all types of conditions. In the video above we have taken the hat for a crash test with foil board in wavy conditions. After the hard face plant into a wave, the hat flies off about 10 feet behind the rider. The waves have no affect on the hat and as you can see, the hat sits above the water's surface and does not sink. All other ordinary hats would sit below the surface or would even sink. The BUOY floating hat allows you to easily spot it from a long distance, so that you will never lose a hat while doing what you love on the water.
